Offered for homeowners in the Highlands Community who are interested in learning about getting a plaque for their home (if it is more than 50 years old.)
June 5, 7-8:30 p.m.: Talk by Professor Rod McLeod about Blatchford Airfield during WW2 @ Highlands Library, 6710-118 Avenue. Free for HHS Members. $5.00 Non-members.
July 2-8 (tba): For this year’s Edmonton and District Historical Society’s annual Historic Festival and Doors Open, we are offering Bus and Walking Tours, Free to Members. $5.00 or $10 for Non-members. Stay tuned for updates on our website and Facebook.

October 11, 7-10 p.m. Highlands Golf Course: HHS 30th Anniversary Celebration and Launch of our new book: James Bond Steele: Diaries of a One-Room Schoolteacher 1885-1891. Includes food, fun and entertainment. We’ll keep you posted!
