Weds. July 5: Bus Tour of the Highlands, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Come on board to hear stories about the people who have lived in the neighbourhood throughout the decades, told by our knowledgable guides. We meet in front of the Magrath Mansion (6240 Ada Boulevard), and the cost is $10, payable by cash or debit. Pre-registration is required by July 2. Call (780) 471-3931, or email purpleladyot@shaw.ca.

Thurs. July 6: Walking Tour of the Highlands, from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Join our host(s) for a leisurely stroll past the most intriguing properties in the Highlands, and learn fascinating details about the neighbourhood. Why do some of the street blades have names on them? Which house did Canada’s first female weathercaster live in? What happened to the coal mines that used to operate in the area? Come and find out these answers and much more! The cost is $10, payable by cash or debit. Pre-registration is required by July 4. Call (780) 471-3931, or email purpleladyot@shaw.ca.

Sat. July 8: Magrath Mansion Open House, from 1:00 p.m – 4:00 p.m. Take a self-guided tour through the magnificent Magrath Campus of Concordia University.
