Please join us for the Highlands Historical Society 2023 Annual General Meeting on Saturday, November 25 at 1:00 pm.
We are excited to hold our meeting in the Highlands United Church sanctuary! There will be opportunity to enjoy this beautiful historic space, and view the splendid memorial stained-glass window, fashioned from glass fragments collected by Reverand T. Richard Davies in 1944, from towns and villages across war-torn Europe. The history of this commemorative window is fascinating!
Following the brief meeting, the always engaging Tom Long of North Wind Heritage Consulting will present the intriguing tale “Remembering Edmonton’s Forgotten First Lady: Louise Umphreville”.
Light refreshments will be served at this event and HHS memberships will be available.
