Walking Tours of Historic Highlands

In conjunction with the Edmonton and District Historical Society’s 28th Annual Historic Festival and Doors Open Celebration, Highlands Historical Society is hosting two different guided walking tours.

On Tuesday, July 9, from 7:00 to 9;00 pm, we will tour the Highlands neighbourhood north of 112th Avenue.

On Saturday, July 13, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, we will tour the Highlands neighbourhood south of 112 Avenue.

Both tours leave from the Gibbard Block, 6423 – 112 Avenue. Cost to participants is $10 per person, children under 12 are free. Please pre-register by July 8 by phone, 780 471 3931, or by email at purpleladyot@shaw.ca

We hope you will join us as we stroll through the neighbourhood, enjoying fascinating stories and facts about the buildings and the people who lived in Highlands.
