Heritage plaques are an attractive and informative part of the Highlands/Bellevue area, and here’s a chance for you to learn how to obtain a plaque for your Highlands home! On Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m., HHS is hosting an information session at Concordia University’s Magrath Campus (6240 Ada Blvd). You will learn how to navigate the Henderson’s Directories and Land Titles, and this research is the main part of the plaque application process.
The criteria to qualify for a plaque is the following: your home must be at least 50 years old, and it must fall within the Highlands/Bellevue boundaries (50th St. to Wayne Gretzky Drive and Ada Blvd to 118th Ave.)
The event is free but registration with the plaques coordinator is required — please email plaques.edmontonhighlands@gmail.com to register.
