You are Highlands History

Did you grow up in the Highlands neighbourhood?  Do you have great memories of your time in Highlands?  The Highlands Historical Society would like you to share those memories.

You are Highlands History is an opportunity for you to bring history alive.  We would love to have you share a brief anecdote, a memory or a story of your remembrances of living in our historic Highlands neighbourhood.   We will provide ways to share your memories through interviews or on paper.  If you have a photo to accompany your story, please bring it!  With your permission we will publish those stories on the Highlands Historical Society blog.

Please join the Highlands Historical Society Board on Saturday, October 1, anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 pm at the historic McLuhan House at 11342 – 64^th Street.  If you have mobility issues, please let us know so we may accommodate you.  Light refreshments will be served and photos of days-gone-by will be on display.  This event is open to both HHS members and non-members.  If you wish to purchase a membership that day, we will be able to assist you.
