Dylan Reade, Edmonton’s own IMAX filmmaker, has filmed it all – and will be tonight’s speaker to tell the story of the Long Lake Métis Settlement of the 1860’s and 1870’s!
Tonight’s Speaker Series starts at 7 pm in the program room of the Highland’s Library.
Arrive early to save your seats! This Speaker Series, “Highlanders before the Highlands,” will be an engaging evening full of stories of the Gullion, Borwick and Fraser families who became the first settlers in what is now the Highlands!
Admission is free for members of the Highlands Historical Society and $5 for non-members.
